Fulton Tax Official is Noted for Outstanding Achievement
The Atlanta Business League, during its recent 15th Annual Super Tuesday Luncheon, honored five Atlanta businesswomen including Fulton County Board of Assessors Chair Pamela J. Smith. Smith, who is president of her own Atlanta-based real estate company - Smith Real Estate Services, Inc. - won Atlanta Business League's coveted "Outstanding Achievement" award. This award recognizes Smith's success in the generation of sales, new business growth and expansion into new markets in real estate consulting services.
Founded by Smith in 1984, Smith Real Estate Services specializes in commercial real estate with expertise in valuation and market analysis, counseling, appraising, right-of-way acquisition services and development consulting. Smith's academic credentials include an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, a Master's of Public Administration from New York University's College of Public Administration, a Master's of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State Univaersity's College of Business Administration and a certificate in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The Atlanta Business League, a non-profit organization, was established in 1933 as an affiliate of the National Business League, which was founded in 1900 by Dr. Booker T. Washington. The Atlanta Business League seeks to provide economic empowerment and business development opportunities for minorities throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area, with specific emphasis on the development of businesses owned by African Americans.
