Housing Authority of Atlanta (AHA)
SRES provided a comprehensive assessment of thirty-two public housing communities representing a total of 8,552 units. A comprehensive physical needs assessment was completed on each asset. The purpose of the physical needs assessment was to identify repairs, replacement and significant maintenance items, which required an immediate short-term response, and to identify repairs, replacement and significant maintenance items which required a response over a longer term. In addition, extensive data was collected on the task elements listed below. After an in-depth analysis was performed on each asset, the consultant provided the AHA with specific recommendations on disposition, demolition and renovation strategies for each housing community.
